The Job

We are looking for an Integrations Engineer or a Software Developer who specializes in writing API integrations to produce high-quality scaleable custom integrations. You will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for all engineering aspects of Tovuti. That process follows the software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As an Integrations Engineer, you should be comfortable with back-end development languages that handle large consumptions of data, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for design and utility.

The Day-to-Day

• Work with engineering team members and front-facing departments to ensure all business requirements are met
• Design and maintain server-side architecture
• Build custom API integrations that are reusable and efficient.
• Write effective integrations with the intent of testing first.
• Test all code to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the current tech stack.
• Write integrations with security and data protection ideologies in place.
• Write technical documentation
• Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure timelines are met and requirements are maintained from start to end.

The Must-Haves

• Proven experience writing and maintaining API integrations
• Data stability and cleanliness
• Familiarity with common stacks (LAMP)
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology
• Knowledge of server-side languages such as PHP.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of PHP or Object-Oriented programming
  • Integrations will utilize PHP
• Experience working with MySQL databases and web servers
  • (e.g. Apache, Nginx)
• Must know and maintain GIT
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• An analytical and creative mind
• Be a person who loves technology
• Have a deep passion for connecting with customers
